Children are a gift from the Lord
Our Philosophy
We at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, recognize our Preschool as an integral and vital ministry to our congregation and community. As God, in Christ Jesus, shares His love, forgiveness, and salvation with us, so Mt. Olive Preschool shares these blessings with others.
We strive to:
- Help children establish and grow in their Christian faith and make that faith part of their everyday lives.
- Encourage their positive feelings toward learning by introducing them to a Christ-centered, child focused curriculum.
- Enhance their readiness for school.

Lunch Bunch
Lunch Bunch is an extended care service for any of the preschool children on Thurs and Friday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. Kids bring a sack lunch and enjoy a supervised play time. The cost is $8 per session.
Fall Service Activity
Scholastic Book Club's Classrooms Care is our fall service activity. Each class - along with classes throughout the nation - will strive to read at least 100 books by December 18. When they've finished, Scholastic books, along with football superstars Eli and Peyton Manning, will donate 1 million books to kids in need. A visit by a local football player will share with the children how reading strenghtens our minds just like exercise strenghtens our muscles.
Parents are Partners
Family members are welcome to visit and volunteer in the classroom. Opportunities to get involved also exist for those who want to help beyond the school day.
