DAN AND ANNA LOHER
Dan was born in
Portland 11-25-1975 and moved to Forest Grove with his folks when he was
three. His parents first bought “Scotty’s” restaurant in 1979.
Forest Grove is where Dan went through high school, graduation in 1994,
and Scotty’s is where he has worked since he was five years old, along
with his brother.
His parents sold the
restaurant in 1997 but when the new owners defaulted, the Lohers
repossessed this property in 2002. They then offered Dan and Anna
½ partnership. Dan works full time at the restaurant and Anna is
the bookkeeper which enables her to also be a full time Mother and
homemaker.
Anna was born in
West Branch, Michigan in 10-7-1976. She moved to Iowa in
1978 with the family when she was two and stayed there until the third
grade in 1985. The family moved again to Montana until she was in
the sixth grade. In 1988, the Bolhken’s got a call to Mt. Olive
and this is where Anna has remained.
She began school at
Tom McCall. After graduating from high school, one of four
valedictorians, in 1995, she attended Concordia University for two
years. Then she and Dan were married in 1997.
Anna has worked in
retail and later in Operations at Pacific Continental Bank.
