Cohrs Family

(prepared by Annie Jarrell)

Lyle & Carolyn,

Natalie and Joshua

Cohrs

of

Hagg Lake

The Cohrs Family live high above Hagg Lake, elevation 1300 feet, in a real log house. The Family's main hobby for some time to come will be to finish their home. They have lived here two years, coming originally from SE Portland. Now Lyle and Joshua purse one of their favorite hobbies, hunting on their own property. The family have already tried raising a pig, now they may venture into chickens.

Lyle and Carolyn manage and maintain their rental properties. They also have had a home improvement business.

Carolyn, besides being bookkeeper for the business, is the chauffeur. When you live that far out and the children are involved in school, that means several hours a day on the road. Needless, the quality of life their family enjoys here in the country is worth any inconvenience of commuting.

Natalie is ten years old and in the forth grade. Math is her favorite subject and drawing, water coloring and writing are her hobbies. Also hiking and playing in the "club " house on there property.

Joshua is eight years old and in the second grade. Math is his favorite subject and all sports including baseball are his hobbies. His favorite thing to do is hang out with Dad helping work on their place and hunting.

Why did they choose Mt Olive? When they decided to move here they visited other churches in the area. They enjoyed this small and friendly church, especially our gifted pastor, who they feel is far superior to others in the area.
