Duane has lived in or near here all his life. His Grandmother was
one of Mt Olive's earliest members and his brother Darrell Holscher
and his sister Julie Lambert live near Gaston and Forest Grove and
also attend Mt Olive.
They have two sons, Ben, who graduated from Pacific and is an
accountant and Luke, who is working this summer and is going to
Western College next year.
Linda is a Lutheran by marriage. She has taught Sunday School for 23
years and , among other chores, does some of our bulletin boards.
Duane has been a cabinet builder all his working years and works for
Master Brand Cabinets. This company was originally Noble Craft
Cabinets if some of you remember.
Linda is a school teacher only with a different twist. She is in a
home-hospital teacher program in Hillsboro. She goes to the
children's home if they miss a month of school because of illness of
discipline problems.
It is easy to recognize Duane's hobby, hunting, by his many trophies,
especially the beautiful elk in the family room. Linda gardens,
reads, bakes, and has a real talent for art, as we can see by our
bulletin boards. They both like to travel, especially cruising.
